How to Succeed in the Media Business Featured

Get people’s attention with claims that seem outrageous but possible. For example, call Taylor Swift a Nazi or Aziz Ansari a predator. That’s a little more sane that what you hear from Alex Jones, but in the end it’s not that different. There’s more truth to those acqusations. Swift probably does have fans she might not want and Ansari probably can be uncouth. That’s long way from the government faking hideous acts, but it’s really only a long drive, like when people go from Chicago to Disney World.How does this affect me, you ask? Well, another “outrageous but possible” claim made recently is that dealers charge black people more for auto finance. This got a lot of national attention. Not one article I saw asked why a group “dedicated solely to ending discrimination in housing” was suddenly looking at auto finance. But it sure sounded good.
