A federal grand jury indicted an Alabama used-car dealer for violating federal protections for active-duty military service members by refusing to reduce the loan interest rate and repossessing the vehicle he sold to a man who was later deployed overseas with the Alabama National Guard.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau went live with the nation's largest public database of federal consumer financial complaints, opening up to consumers across the country information on more than 90,000 individual complaints on financial products and services.
