Ford and Lincoln dealers will provide customers a three-month trial of SiriusXM when they purchase any used vehicle, regardless of manufacturer that has a factory-installed satellite radio.

About 1,200 Ford and Lincoln dealerships are participating in the effort.

The satellite radio broadcaster has recently announced other automakers offering free trials with pre-owned vehicles that have factory installed satellite radio receivers - like Hyundai, Toyota, GM, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen - bringing the total dealer participation to 5,000.
